After feeding time for the elephants it was time to feed ourselves...A stunning spot over the longest river in Sri Lanka, The Mahaweli Ganga....watching the elephants have a wash and a play...
We arrive at Pinewalla, an elephant orphanage
On the way to Pinnawala we see a rubber tree...The bark on the tree is stripped so the sap trickles down into the coconut positioned at the base of the tree. This is collected twice a day and the liquid turned into rubber.
