The teams prepare to do battle at the impressive Trinity Old Boys Stadium, the venue for England's humbling defeat to Sri Lanka, hopefully we can fair better...Sean goes out to the toss in Ramith's absence, hands over the school plaque and wins the toss...Once again Dan & Ned go out to do battle first...
Ed scores a patient and important 20....
Whilst Sean rises to the challenge of captaincy to score an excellent 65...

The ground is one of contrasts...on the inside it was fantastic, huge, luxurious changing rooms, and home to the exclusive Trinity Old Boys Club, of which Sangakara is a member...
on the other side of the wall is where the locals live...
Those locals helped to give Toby a good work out though...and proved to be very entertaining all day...In the field the boys had their work cut out to defend 180 off 40 overs, after some good contributions from Josh & Alex at the end of the innings...
Mark & Charles held some smart catches and Sean kept encouraging right to the end, but we never had enough and fell to a 7 wicket defeat...

On the way home the cricket continued in the park as the locals did battle...they were so keen that 3 of them converged on one ball, with the ball winning easily....
The sun sets on Kandy...A beautiful city full of history & culture, at 5,000ft above sea level it proved to be a little too challenging for us Fen Land boys, but a great experience...next stop Dambulla on the third leg of this amazing trip!
