In the field the boys had their work cut out to defend 180 off 40 overs, after some good contributions from Josh & Alex at the end of the innings...Mark & Charles held some smart catches and Sean kept encouraging right to the end, but we never had enough and fell to a 7 wicket defeat...
On the way home the cricket continued in the park as the locals did battle...they were so keen that 3 of them converged on one ball, with the ball winning easily....
The sun sets on Kandy...A beautiful city full of history & culture, at 5,000ft above sea level it proved to be a little too challenging for us Fen Land boys, but a great experience...next stop Dambulla on the third leg of this amazing trip!
